NY Daily News (NYDN) is one of New York’s largest daily. The Drupal Development team at Tekriti Software is presently involved in a series of Drupal based initiatives for NYDN. One of them is the NY Daily Blog.

NY Daily Blog is a robust editorial blog site with multi million page views per day. This is made possible by extensive use of external Caching mechanisms like Varnish, Memcache, APC and also internal caching handled via code. One of the specialties of this Blog site is that its a site with multiple blogs, each blog having multiple authors. There is a complex web of relationships between blogs and authors controlled by permissions at each level.
